Dog Name Boards

I love my doggies, we have pictures of them around the house. To do something different I made them Dog (name) boards, to go next to their pictures.

I have found these boards in the woods, bit you could use anything, even a 2x4 from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Because these was aged I sanded the board. If you by a new board and want to "age" it. hit it with a hammer.

I used this stain, with a brush.

I let the stain dry, you can use any color you like, but I did not want to take away from the wood grains.



I used stencils, outlined the letters with a black paint pen.

Once you have an outline of the letters paint in the lines with your choice of paint.
